Pat Bell says the loss of 15,000 jobs is OK!

Pat Bell: So what everybody is doing it!

Amazing!

Coming on the heels of this mornings reports about job losses, Cabinet Minister Pat Bell says it’s okay.

His reason: It’s Okay because it’s a Canada wide thing.

Gimme a break Pat,since when is it okay to walk down the road to have not status.

It’s like the old saying if you jumped off a bridge would I? Not likely.

For a government whose premier campaigned on a jobs and family first platform, this response is atrocious.

Just another reason why the arrogant, complacent BC Liberal party has to be replaced.

What do you think?

  1. If the liebrals were going to jump off a bridge i would say that the lineup of pushers would outnumber them 4 to 1.

  2. I tried to come to my senses. I tried the conservative party than they elect randy white as a leader?

If I wanted wacko religious ideas to form government ideas that effect me than I would see about getting the westboro baptist idiots up here running. Be the same but they draw a bigger crowd usually.

    1. The press release I read says that White and Peckford are part of an issues management team. John Cummins is the leader and Lambert Leung is the Acting Campaign Manager.

  3. Randy Whites Conservative religious party could get elected if they had a policy on HST,Smart Meters , jobs or anything viable. They don’t. When the newsletter big news is 7 new members this doesn’t sound very promising either.
Looks like the liebrals have really done a job on this place leaving absolutely nothing to choose from.nn

  4. Pat Bell an honest answer from a liebral for a change it is only OK to him because he isjust sitting back and waiting for his cushy guaranteed pension after they are retired. Who Cares about BC jobs lost – Not the liebrals. Election time lies will flip this over to be the NDP’s fault somehow.

  5. The sad thing is the majority of jobs lost are part time and women hold down these positions. But like all Republicans, and we should start calling them the BC Republican Party (Ms. Clark wants to change the name and I cannot think of a better one), concern for women who probably single parents, they will have to go on welfare and penalized for losing thier jobs.

  6. Bell, the point man to Oblivion. Guaranteed Christy would be front and centre if it were 15,000 jobs created in July. What an absolute cowardly, gutless excuse of a leader.

  7. We’ll probably look back at this jobs report and think it’s great compared to the NDP government about to be elected.

    1. Strange isn’t it. People got their shorts in a big knot over HST and nothing now. I keep hearing wait until the fall.

  8. Typical no-brain reply from one of the most incompetent, corrupt political parties British Columbians have ever had to endure. Another reason they need to be gone: completely and quickly.

  9. I think Minister Bell is preparing BC’ers for things to come. He knows very well his government is down the tubes next Spring, and with NDP policy toward any resource extraction, pipeline,or shipping,BC will have a lot more job losses than the mere 15,000 mentioned in the article.
